The woman, identified as Sheralynn “Marie” Neff, had been missing since Sunday afternoon.
The woman’s name was not immediately released. After her last jump, her parachute was found in a tree near Harmony Road and Grandstaff about five miles from Cimarron Correctional Facility.
Authorities said she is an experienced skydiver.
The search party is expected to grow to almost 130 people by 10am Monday morning. The sheriff’s office believes the parachute opened at 4,000 feet, says KOCO.
Officials plan to search through the night if necessary.
The search effort was halted around 1 a.m. and started again at 6 a.m. Monday.
A search team from Kansas that uses tracking dogs wasn’t available, he said.
