SDCC: New “Star Trek” Series Gets Full Title, First Teaser Released

As readers of the Gadget Helpline will know we have been eagerly pursuing any info or rumours surrounding the secretive new Star Trek series set for launch on CBS All Access and Netflix in 2017.

Not only is there a brand new ship in the Star Trek universe that’s been built to carry on a new mission, but it also has a brand new name: Discovery.

It was Fuller’s presence that suggested fans might learn more about the upcoming CBS series because he has been brought in to serve as executive producer on the new Star Trek series.

Fuller noted the writers and producers are now working on casting “Discovery”, writing the first three scripts and constructing the show’s sets in Toronto.

CBS Television Studios is producing the show in association with Secret Hideout, Living Dead Guy Productions and Roddenberry Entertainment.
