Mr Turnbull said Australia has no stronger alliance than that with the United States.
“This is awesome for my son, this is historical and myself and my son will never forget this”, Tini Ierome said after both she and her 9-year-old son, Jacobson Ierome, took separate photos with Biden.
He said the U.S. was “all in” when it came to the Asia-Pacific region and “anyone who questions America’s dedication and staying power in the Asia-Pacific simply is not paying attention”.

Mr Biden said on Wednesday that he’d spent more alone time with Chinese President Xi Jinping than any other world leader.
He will then head to Sydney, where he will meet with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and have dinner with Governor-General Peter Cosgrove.
United States Vice President Joe Biden touched down in Auckland this evening for the next leg of a tour to reinforce the USA presence in the Pacific. “And we will do our part to maintain peace and stability in the region”.
“But you’re making it, as we say in the States, a team sport”, he added, declaring that the world was on the verge of major breakthroughs in treatment.
“We’ve committed to put over 60 percent of our fleet and our most advanced military capabilities in the Pacific by 2020”.
In other developments, Foreign Minister Julie Bishop and Defence Minister Marise Payne are heading for Washington, where they will represent Australia at a meeting of defence and foreign ministers of Coalition countries fighting ISIS in Iraq.
Biden, who made the comments during a speech at a Boeing factory he is visiting in Australia, said while the details and motive behind the killings remain unclear, the public owes police officers in general a debt of gratitude for putting their lives on the line.
Biden said his talks with Turnbull, who was recently elected to a second term as prime minister, also covered military cooperation. If you would like to discuss another topic, look for a relevant article.
