The first trailer for Warner Bros.’ highly anticipated Wonder Woman debuted at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday and fans are going nuts.

At the Comic confab, Gadot and her cast mates discussed the significance of having a strong female lead in a superhero movie, a genre that generally tends to favor men in lead roles. Why not? She’s Wonder Woman, she can do anything. Already, we’ve seen our first look at Wonder Woman and now they’ve dropped the first teaser trailer for their next juggernaut, Zack Synder’s Justice League.
In the trailer, Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) finds a passed out Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) on the beach.
“I feel like Diana is really accessible”. Leaving the island behind, she sets off into the outside world in an attempt to put things right. However, fans who believe in Wonder Woman are bound to get excited about her solo film. Finally, headline star Gal Gadot took the stage, with Jenkins praising her, calling her a real Wonder Woman for all the effort she put into her performance.
And that’s the Wonder Woman film.
Gadot has been working with male directors all her life.
The footage for the upcoming blockbuster, directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster), shows the Amazonian princess awkwardly meeting Pine’s fighter pilot character.
“I think women are awesome for being able to show what they feel”. After watching this trailer I am much more optimistic about Snyder’s third DC outing though, so here’s hoping the finished film is just as entertaining as this clip.

It also stars Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Saïd Taghmaoui, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, and Ewen Bremner and will land in theaters June 2, 2017.
