The 2012 10th overall pick has hit.484/.529/.887 with 5 HR and 16 RBI in 16 games with the Isotopes. Dahl already possesses speed, a strong throwing arm and defensive ability in center, and he has quick hands and gap power at the plate, with some scouts believing he has the ability to hit 20-25 homers. “I’m just trying to just enjoy this experience”. He hit.297/.415/.559 with 14 home runs and 46 RBI with Double-A Corpus Christi before being promoted to Triple-A Fresno. He provides the Rockies with a valuable left-handed bat and is able to play all three outfield positions. The 2016 BA Prospect Handbook ranked Dahl as the second-best prospect in Colorado’s system, describing him as having “the potential to be a five-tool center fielder”. “But yeah, he gives us some versatility and the opportunity to get Charlie off his feet”. He also had a productive 76-game stint this season with Double-A Hartford, where he batted. 314 average, 18 home runs, and 61 RBIs. Danny Worth has been designated for assignment to create room on the roster.
