Van turned left in front of Cowboys’ bus
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the van made a left turn and collided with the bus in an intersection. The bus is now being looked at by the Arizona Department of Public Safety’s commercial vehicle inspectors.

Four people were killed when a Dallas Cowboys tour bus carrying staffers but no players and a van were involved in an accident just outside Dolan Springs in northwest Arizona on Sunday afternoon, officials said.
DPS spokesman Quentin Mehr says three females and one male in the van died, but he didn’t release their identities.
Dalrymple said the bus was only carrying members of the franchise’s staff but would not say how many. There were no players on board. Spagnola has been documenting the annual bus tour on the Cowboys’ website.
Each of the four people on the Cowboys bus – all staff, including Cowboys in-house journalist Mickey Spagnola and the guy who plays the Cowboys mascot, Rowdy – escaped major injury. The bus was seemingly intact and sitting upright in a field afterward, while the van appeared reduced to wreckage.
At least one lane of a major highway between Phoenix and Las Vegas was shut down as a result of the collision.
People were waiting when the president of a local Cowboys fan club called about the accident. The event, which was supposed to feature the team mascot, was canceled, Cooper said.
Following the Las Vegas event, the bus was scheduled to proceed to Oxnard, California, for the Cowboys preseason training camp. If you would like to discuss another topic, look for a relevant article.
