Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download WWE 2K16 for Xbox One in August as part of Microsoft’s Games with Gold program. As always, the latter games will be made available to Xbox One owners via backwards compatibility. Pop them into your diary so you can make sure not to miss out on this months exciting batch of free games.
While those games close out the month of GWG freebies, it begins with Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate on the Xbox One, and Spelunky on the 360. On Xbox 360, the first half of the month has the classic indie title Spelunky with the second half of the month featuring the all-time classic Beyond Good and Evil HD.
More August games might be revealed for Games with Gold soon, but until then, let’s be happy with one. It seems that they are following Sony’s moves with WWE as Sony did with releasing National Basketball Association 2K16 for free. According to The Christian Times, the inclusion of the Rockstar game this August would help increase the hype for it’s rumored sequel.
The prior period we got access to Tumblestone, The Banner Saga 2 and Tron Evolution. Three games that are expected to be added to the Gold lineup are “Red Dead Redemption”, “Ryse: Son of Rome”, and “Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition”.
Just to be safe, here’s the dates these games are available. Stay tuned for more updates on Xbox Games with Gold Free Games August 2016!
