The trailer of Ashutosh Gowariker’s movie Mohenjo Daro did not receive a good response, but some of the songs have been received well. Ace writer Javed Akhtar have penned the lyrics for “Sarsariya”. Lagaan released in 2001 but when Team Mohenjo Daro arrived to begin filming, what did they find but the cement platform that the cricket pavilion had been built on. Shashwat Singh and Shashaa Tirupati have sung this song on the tunes of musical genius AR Rahman. We quite liked “Mohenjo Mohenjo” and we saw some spark after a disappointing “Tu Hai”.
