The latest AMG tuned convertible- the SLC 43 is priced at INR 77.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Officially, the SLC43 is the successor to the SLK55 AMG.

This is the sixth launch for the company in the country in 2016.
The new SLC-class was revealed in December previous year and made its official debut at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show and will replace the SLK-class roadsters in the Mercedes lineup.
Up front the SLC gets a steeply raked radiator grille which elongates the appearance of the arrow-shaped bonnet. The SLC 43 replaces the ageing SLK 55 AMG and it’s not just the name that’s changed – the facelift gives us a fresh/modernized version of the SLK.
Talking about features, the Mercedes AMG SLC43 is equipped with plenty of features like intelligent LED headlamps, leather upholstery, COMAND infotainment and communication system, a Harman Kardon surround sound system and ambience lighting in solar red, polar blue or polar white.
What appears to be a slide from an internal presentation at Mercedes-Benz seems to lay out timelines for several interesting vehicles, including a GT roadster, several Smart EV variants, something called the E-Class All Terrain and the fabled Mercedes pickup truck.

Powering the SLC 43 roadster is a 3.0-litre V6 bi-turbo petrol engine that is capable of producing 361bhp of power and a peak torque of 520Nm. The engine is mated to a 9-Speed automatic gearbox which transfers all that power to the wheels, which is why the SLC 43 can go from a standstill to 100Km/h in 4.7 seconds before reaching its “electronically-limited” top-speed of 250Km/h. From dead halt, the auto races to 100kmph in 4.7 seconds while the three-pointed star brand has rated its top speed at 250kmph.
