Sir Roger Moore has been left “heartbroken” by the death of his stepdaughter who has died of cancer at the age of 47.

Sir Roger shared the news on Twitter by sharing two photographs of Christina with the heartbreaking messages. “We were all with her, surrounding her with love, at the end”.

She was just six-years-old when her father, businessman Hans Christian Knudsen, committed suicide, and then, nearly 20 years later, she lost her step-father, millionaire industrialist Ole Tholstrup to alcoholism.

Christina had lived in London since 1997 and was half Swedish and half Danish.

In 2014, Knudsen launched Ochun, a dating agency for high-profile jet-setters after previously working in property development and interior design. I was in my early 30s. I’m stunned she’s gone.

Christina had a turbulent childhood, with her father committing suicide after being accused of tax evasion, and her step-father Ole Tholstrup dying of alcoholism.

Referring to her own previous marriage to investment banker Nikolaj Albinus, she told The Evening Standard: “I think I didn’t know myself that well when I got married and felt pressurised by society”.

She told the Evening Standard: “After I divorced I realised how hard it was to meet like-minded people who were single”.

Following her divorce, she was involved in a long-term relationship with Skype co-founder Janus Friis. “Thank you for being so wonderful to her”.
