BlackBerry Neon Android Smartphone Leaked

As revealed on our sister site CrackBerry, the BlackBerry “Neon”, also known as the DTEK50, will have a full touchscreen with no hardware keyboard, unlike their first Android smartphone, the Priv. The image was gleaned directly off BlackBerry servers after someone hit the go button a bit early on part of the website for the device that will go with its official launch. A few images, claiming to show the unannounced smartphone have popped up online.

BlackBerry has definitely kept the shortcomings Priv faced in mind, as Neon will be overshadowing at least the price issue given the budget-oriented specifications. In this case, we could see BlackBerry’s latest Android flavored handset greet the light of day on August 20th. It will launch with the current version of Android i.e. Internal storage will be 16GB and that is expandable up to 2TB with memory cards.

The device seems to have a 13MP autofocus rear camera and an 8MP unit on the front. The second smartphone, dubbed BlackBerry Argon, is expected to feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD display and powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. With Quick Charge 2.0 on board, you won’t be spending too much time on the sidelines waiting for the cell to power up.

The BlackBerry Neon will also come with dual cameras, on the front there will be an 8 megapixel camera for Selfies and on the back there will be a 13 megapixel camera for photos and videos. The smartphone had the same display size, RAM capacity, processor, and even battery capacity.
