Donald Trump taunts claims that Russia hacked DNC emails to help him
The DNC breach occurred around the same time as breaches of USA government systems at the State Department and the White House.

“I think that Debbie Wasserman Schultz did the right thing”, Weaver said. “But these hackers are so sophisticated that they changed procedures”.
‘This is a time where our country’s gonna have to choose which way we way gonna go.
It is not clear whether the WikiLeaks breach is linked to an earlier incident in June.
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, head of the DNC, announced she would step down after the Democratic National Convention concludes, apparently as a result of the email leak.
The U.S. House of Representatives intelligence committee has been briefed and will seek information on any potential connection to Russian Federation or any other state, said Representative Adam Schiff, the senior Democrat on the panel.
Wikileaks has posted emails that suggested the DNC was favoring Clinton during the primary season. The group didn’t identify the source.
After Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager alleged that Russians “stole and released” the DNC emails to help elect her opponent, Donald Trump’s son said that if a Republican told “lie after lie” like the Democrats, “they would bring out the electric chair”. The FBI has sent experts to meet with the Republican National Committee, as well as the major campaigns, to discuss their security measures, the officials say.
On CNN’s Erin Burnett OutFront, Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort called any claims of Russian assistance to the Trump effort “absurd” when asked about it on the show. “I don’t think it’s coincidental that these emails were released on the eve of our [Democratic National] Convention here”.
On Sunday, Clinton’s campaign manager, Robby Mook, said the emails were leaked “by the Russians for the goal of helping Donald Trump”.
This is further evidence the Russian government is trying to influence the outcome of the election.
“I can’t think of bigger lies, but that exactly goes to show you what the DNC and what the Clinton camp will do”.
During an interview with CNN Sanders said he wasn’t shocked by it.
Democrats, including some in Congress, are trying to pressure the White House to publicly name Russian Federation as the perpetrator, in the way the government named North Korea in the Sony hack and China for hacking various US companies.
Democrats have been trying to link Trump and Russian President Vladamir Putin, but we don’t have any record to prove Russia is on Trump’s side.
“I mean this is time and time again, lie after lie”. The FBI’s spoken to this.
‘I’ve got no information or no idea, ‘ he stated.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, however, dismissed claims.
The Massachusetts senator speaks Monday night in an opening lineup that also includes first lady Michelle Obama, New Jersey Sen. While the Federal Bureau of Investigation has not officially named anyone, officials are saying that there is evidence that points to Russian actors who have been tied to other recent hacks.
The release of the emails over the weekend, however, raised new questions among government and private sector security officials. And there may be more shoes to drop: Director of National Intelligence James Clapper has said USA officials expect more cyber threats against the campaigns.

“Manafort advised Yanukovych on media, not policy, and Moscow exerted pressure on Yanukovych to get rid of him because he was seen as an undue US influence”, Frolov said. What is known is that Russian metadata was found on the emails published through Wikileaks.
