A man lost six members of his family in the horrific lorry massacre in Nice, French media reported.

The driver of a white commercial truck paved his way into a pedestrian-only area Thursday killing at least 84 people and injuring 50 others as crowds watched Bastille Day fireworks.
Sean and Brodie Copeland from Lakeway, Texas, have been confirmed as two of the victims in the Bastille Day attack by family and friends that are mourning the loss of their loved ones.
The Copeland’s vacation was in part to celebrate the birthdays of Copeland’s wife, Kim, and his son, Austin, Davis said.
He said Sean Copeland was an enthusiastic father who made time to make sure Brodie got baseball training.
“The Bobcat community is deeply saddened by the Copeland family’s loss during the tragic incident in Nice, France, on Thursday”, said Texas State President Denise Trauth. The family had gone for a brief holiday to the French Riviera.
Sean, who Bishop describes as a “very hands-on father”, and Brodie were very close – and they specifically connected over baseball together, just as pictured (above). “When they return home they will be wrapped up, they will be well loved, well fed, well covered, most importantly well prayed over”, he said.
“Nobody deserves this type of fate, especially not such a wonderful family”, the league said in the post.
Aaron Cable, with the baseball club, worked with Brodie nearly every week for the past two years.
Our thoughts and prayers are with this family, and every other family, friend, and loved one that is today dealing with the aftermath of an unspeakable, senseless tragedy.
Aaron Cable, head of player development for the Hill Country Baseball Club, worked closely with Brodie almost every week for the past two years. “Rest in peace, Brodie and Sean; you will be remembered by many”. Sean Copeland, age 51, and his son Brodie, age 11, were on vacation when they were killed when a truck rammed into pedestrians and gunshots fired into the crowd of festival-goers.
Troy Copeland, Sean’s brother, says he and his other brother will fly to Nice with the State Department to pick up the family and bring everyone home over the weekend.
Maegan and Austin even ran with the bulls, she said.
Holding up an identity card that belonged to his mother, he added: “She wore the veil, practising an Islam of the middle ground”.
Two Armenians, a Ukranian and one Swiss national were among the dead, their foreign ministries confirmed, but they did not identify the victims.
