The latest in a string of Pokemon GO-related incidents occurred in Las Vegas, where a man and a teenage accomplice attempted to rob trainers of their smartphones and valuables.

Police spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said two men in the case now have non-life threatening injuries.

Police said an armed man and a juvenile drove up to the group in an SUV and demanded their possessions at gunpoint. One of the Pokémon Go players, however, had a concealed weapons permit, pulled out his gun and a shootout ensued.

One of the players pulled a gun in defense and gunfire was exchanged.

Meltzer didn’t reveal whether the hospitalized Pokemon GO player who ended up being shot in the stomach is also the one who was armed and has only confirmed that the group knew each other.

The suspect was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound in his back. How he got to the hospital is not clear, but a matching SUV was found there.

Police later said an adult and a juvenile were arrested as a result of the investigation. Pokemon Go is a popular app for smart phones that has players walk around areas trying to catch characters on the screen. Earlier this month, four teenagers in Saint Louis were robbing Pokemon trainers after luring them to a specific isolated location with one of the literal in-game Lures.
