Dark Hair, Exotic Accent: ‘Wonder Woman’ to Hit Theatres in 2017

The new footage from Justice League provides an extended look at Affleck interacting with Jason Momoa of Game Of Thrones as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and Gal Gadot, who reprises the role of Wonder Woman from Batman v Superman.

Directed by DC mainstay Zack Snyder, the trailer also feels like a strategic appeal to fans who were bummed out by the dark aesthetic of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Dialogue is on-point and everyone seems to have a lot of fun!

The DC Comics film, which is due for release in November 2017, is set to rival Marvel’s Avengers movies, which also feature an ensemble cast of superhero characters. Sound off in the comments! Warner Bros. has 10 films pegged to the interconnected universe over the next few years including “Suicide Squad”, which comes out next month, “Wonder Woman”, “Aquaman”, “The Flash”, and the stand-alone “Batman” film, which Affleck is directing and starring in.

Because we knew they’d be teaming up in the near future, the fact that the Man of Steel and the Caped Crusader spent a solid two hours engaged in a weird, testosterone-heavy feud felt inherently ridiculous.

The Wonder Woman trailer begins with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) meeting fighter pilot and future love interest Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) washed up on a beach.

We’ve already caught a glimpsed of Netflix’s upcoming renditions Marvel’s comics universe, so it’s only fair to give DC Comics its time in the spotlight as well.

But critics described “Batman v Superman” as a very grim film.

Three days since its release, the “Justice League” trailer has managed to reel in more than 11 million views on YouTube with fans gushing in the comments section about how excited they are to see the film.

And, of course, there’s plenty of Ben Affleck’s Batman, who shocked everyone by being the best part of Dawn of Justice after years of internet backlash.
