“I would not be me if we will not be revisiting some old faces”, Plec concluded.
“I feel so blessed to have been a part of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES”.
Nina Dobrev may return to The Vampire Diaries yet.
“In a statement, CW President Mark Pedowitz said, “‘The Vampire Diaries’ has meant so much to so many fans around the world, and has meant so much to all of us at the CW”.
Back in May, IGN got the chance to chat with Candice King about Season 7’s cliffhanger ending, Caroline and Stefan’s relationship and more. “It has been a magical, thrilling, life-changing experience”, he states. “Working with Julie and our wonderful cast and crew has been one of the highlights of my career and life”.
He added that the core of the show has always been about family, with production also becoming one big family. Thank you again to this awesome cast and crew, Kevin [Williamson], Julie [Plec], Warner Bros., The CW and the most loyal fan base the world has ever seen.

“I’m so very grateful to those who fought for me to have this opportunity (you know who you are), for those that have worked so hard to make this show happen, and to those that have loyally watched it, making it part of their lives. Thank you, thank you, thank you”.
