Apple TV Adds Adobe Lightroom App for Photo Viewing & Sharing
Adobe’s Photoshop Lightroom has widespread appeal to a broad constituency of photographers for viewing, management, editing, and sharing their images. Any photo in Lightroom that you’ve synced to mobile or Lightroom’s web gallery will be available inside the Apple TV app.

You know you want to show off all your summer vacation photos on the big screen at your next family get-together, and Adobe is going to help you do it. If you’re already a Lightroom user, the new Apple TV app lets you easily view your favorite photos and collections on your TV.
Lightroom is one of the few Creative Cloud apps that does not require a paid subscription. If you are a Lightroom user, you’re probably as confused as I am with this choice of language, seeing as longtime users have never used it as a platform to enjoy or share.
Lightroom for Apple TV doesn’t support Siri search to let you find photos by voice.
All your photos, are always available with your latest edits.
Basically what Adobe has made here is a slideshow app that links with your cloud-synced Lightroom libraries. The Collections view is Adobe’s version of photo albums.
It says “you’ll be able to share your photos one by one in a slideshow”, but there’s no new functionality to make Lightroom a must-have for slideshows on Apple TV.

There are also no new features for Lightroom to make specific use of Apple TV. If you have both of those things, head over to the App Store on your Apple TV to download the app right now for free.
