Hillary Clinton and her new running mate, Tim Kaine, are taking their show on the road – literally.

Norman Solomon, a Sanders delegate from California, said the choice of Sen. A senator, former Virginia governor and mayor of Richmond, he hails from a top battleground state and, as a fluent Spanish speaker, could help in another: Florida.
“We’re thinking about letting him get a solo”, Williford said.
“When Donald Trump says he has your back, you better watch out”, he said.
The big news in Kaine’s life, that he may end up the next vice president of the United States, was never mentioned directly, though a prayer subtly referencing the news was offered by the church goers. The tension comes just before the Monday launch of the Democratic National Convention, where Clinton is expected to officially become the Democratic presidential nominee. He said that his wife had made the buttons Saturday night to bring to mass. He’d personally given them to the senator and his wife. Sherrod Brown were among the more progressive leaders in the Democratic Party who were being considered for the job that ultimately went to Kaine.

But in a nod to party liberals, the Clinton campaign said Kaine will not support the final version of the 12-nation Trans Pacific Partnership, which is pending in the Senate. A spokeswoman for Kaine confirmed his opposition to the pact. Would I prefer to see an Elizabeth Warren selected by Secretary Clinton? Tim Kaine is too conservative – and that he’d “prefer” progressive Sen.
Sanders supporters lost their bid to eliminate or reduce the influence of superdelegates, party leaders who are not bound to any candidate, during a meeting of the convention rules committee in Philadelphia. That’s on goal. Clinton clearly believes that the electoral map and the demographic realities of the country favor her. And that as long as she does nothing to roil the waters, she is likely to win in November. But the fact that Kaine is more workhorse than showhorse is what commended him to Clinton.

Along the way, the aide said that they will hold both public rallies and more intimate events that zero in on specific issues related to the economy. Sanders had complained about the superdelegates, which overwhelmingly backed Clinton.
