“President Barack Obama’s half-brother told The New York Post that he likes the Republican nominee “because he speaks from the heart” and that “‘Make America Great Again’ is a great slogan'”.
Malik Obama, 58, a long time Democrat and Kenyan half-brother to the President of United States Barrack Obama said that he will switch to Republican Candidate Trump because his brother Obama and Hillary Clinton had deeply disappointed him.
Malik has visited the President in the Oval office and was also best man at Barack’s wedding, reports Reuters.
Malik voiced anger over FBI Director James Comey refusing to prosecute Clinton in relation to abuse of private email servers while she was secretary of state. “It does not make any sense at all”, he added.
Malik Obama, Barack Obama’s half brother said, Trump is “down-to-earth” and “cool”, but Barack Obama has neglected his family since 2009.
“Mr. Trump is providing something new and something fresh”, he said.
But for a more personal reason, Malik Obama doesn’t support same sex marriage, which Barack Obama’s government upholds.
In 2011, Malik made headlines when he married his third wife, who was still a teenager.
He was also bothered by the Democrat’s decision to support same-sex marriage. Mr Obama is due to address the Democratic Convention tomorrow night where he will focus in his speech on his America – the fruit of seven-plus years of his presidency.
“Trump is so much concerned about security and he wants to make America great”, added Obama, who has both Kenyan and U.S. citizenship and says he has voted in United States elections since the 1980s.

Obama’s election created much excitement in Kenya, especially in Kogelo village where their father was born before going to study at the University of Hawaii.
