“The truth is, anyone of us could be the Ancient One”, she told the crowd.

The scene showed focused in on Tilda Swinton’s The Ancient One teaching a reluctant Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch) about his insane new powers.
These days, that usually translates into superheroes, and this year was no exception, as San Diego Comic Con 2016 reveals over the weekend were dominated by news from Marvel and DC, showing off their respective cinematic universes.
The first trailer for The Lego Batman Movie was shown at San Diego Comic Con. Marvel gave us a new Doctor Strange trailer last night (this one gave even Benedict Cumberbatch some chills!), and you can check out some of the other new trailers below (Justice League and Wonder Woman are available to watch here). The fantasy superhero blockbuster will bring back “Batman” (Ben Affleck), “Wonder Woman” (Gal Gadot) and “Superman” (Henry Cavill) who will be reinforced by the three metahumans highlighted in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”.
The joke-laden trailer is a marked contrast from “Batman v Superman“, which was heavily criticized for its dark tone and taking itself too seriously. “It’s a title, and all the things the Ancient One knows and passes on, anyone can do”, Swinton said.
Speaking of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, new footage from the sequel was screened, and Kurt Russell was confirmed to be playing Ego (AKA Ego, The Living Planet), the alien father of Chris Pratt’s half-earthling Peter Quill/Star-Lord. The film will have a baby Groot, which director James Gunn said he spent a lot of time designing.
Now the director has revealed that Black Panther’s enemy will be an expert fighter called Erik Killmonger – played by Michael B Jordan.
Marvel is owned by Disney, the parent company of ABC News.
Wonder Woman isn’t the only female hero that took centre stage at the convention.
Warner Brothers released new footage from the hotly anticipated Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Starring Finn Jones – whom you might know as Loras Tyrell from Game of Thrones – the show will start on Netflix in 2017.
