In North Carolina, he told a convention of the Veterans of Foreign Wars that, “our politicians have totally failed you”.
Few protesters expressed a willingness to embrace Republican nominee Donald Trump in the general election, saying that Clinton would lose to the NY billionaire whether they voted for her or not.
At the 2008 Democratic National Convention, Mrs Clinton called for a vote for Barack Obama by acclamation, ending the roll call vote in an effort to unite the party behind his candidacy.
Ultimately, Bill’s speech was a loving tribute to his “best friend”, a woman who still leaves him in “awe”.
Women face more difficulties in being elected in presidential systems.
The 42nd president of the United States has campaigned on his wife’s behalf throughout the primary because, duh, you’re not going to not use the 42nd president of the United States.
Bill Clinton will give the traditional warm spousal endorsement of the nominee in a speech in Philadelphia on Tuesday night.
He recalls that she served on a special Pentagon commission with former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

The 11 superdelegates from Colorado represent a near-sweep for Clinton among the 12 members in that voting bloc, a situation that Sanders supporters say is unfair given that Colorado overwhelmingly backed Sanders this year.
