Higuain on verge of joining Juventus – Sky Italy
Criticized for a lack of ruthlessness on the worldwide stage, the Argentine has nonetheless been prolific in the blue of Napoli, registering the most shots in Serie A since he made his move to Italy from Real Madrid in 2013 and scoring 71 league goals – 23 more than any other player in that period.

One of the most reliable sources, Sky Sports Italia reports that Juventus have agreed to pay Gonzalo Higuain’s €94.7 million release clause.
According to the Goal, Higuain will sign a four year contract with the Turin outfit, with his deal worth €7m-a-year.
Napoli, who finished runners-up to Juventus to secure their place in next season’s Champions League, are now in the hunt for a top striker with Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi top of their shopping list. I’m not sure what’s happened in the transfer market during the last few days, so once again I prefer to have questions about the game.
Lacazette has been linked with Arsenal and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is a self-confessed fan, but Lyon have been holding tight to their attacking jewel this summer.
Francesco Totti is not happy with Higuain’s transfer to Juventus.
He joined Napoli in 2013 after previously spending six years at Real Madrid in Spain.
Italian media have reported that Higuain will earn approximately €7.5 million per year in wages, making him the highest earner in the Serie A now.
His signing will represent a major coup for the Italian champions as they look to strengthen despite the loss of Alvaro Morata, who returned to Real Madrid, and the expected departure of Paul Pogba to Manchester United.
Gonzalo Higuain has become the third-most expensive signing in football history after joining Juventus from Napoli. Maradona, who only played for Napoli in Italy, inspired the Partenopei to league titles in 1987 and 1990.
