“There will always be some fans who are unhappy, but I think they’ll be pleased with it”, Jared Padalecki, who plays Dean Forester, told Us Weekly over the weekend.
Comedy-drama series Gilmore Girls is set to return as a limited series this year but its cast and crew want it to return to the airwaves for good. Back in February, she told TVLine that she had to curb some of her loftier ambitions for the revival.
“Every single time I see her in a magazine, she’s on vacation doing water sports”, says Rory, to which Lorelai looks stricken.
Well, says Lorelai, would John Oliver be attracted to her?
“It was fun. I wanted to be a bigger part – I think they wanted me to be a bigger part of it as well”. But it was shot during Supernatural, so I only did one day. (Thanks for easing our minds, promo photos!) So the big question still plaguing some fans of the original show centers on young Rory Gilmore, who made a series of increasingly bad romantic decisions over the course of seven years. This could be a move to throw us off and not give away spoilers. Lorelai and Rory still look and act exactly the same.
