Blake Lively has spoken out, and said that she thinks it would be “fun” to bring back the show. “I don’t know, it would be fun”, the actress told E!
“We had such a great time doing that that I think we all would really enjoy that”, she said.
She added: “I miss it sometimes, too!” The Gossip Girl alum jokingly followed up with, “She hasn’t been in touch.” LOL.
When asked whether they were considering something similar for the fans of “Gossip Girl”, executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage said they have not really thought about rebooting the hit series, which ran for six seasons, reported E! Maybe, I don’t know.
CW’s casting director David Rapaport said: “I think the network initially pitched us Rumer Willis for Serena”.
Some of the popular TV shows like “Full House” and “Gilmore Girls” are now being revived.
Speaking about others who tested for the show, he said: “I read so many people”.

So while there are no plans to reboot or revive Gossip Girl, there is one star who would be down to reprise their role: Sebastian Stan, with the Captain America star telling us, “I would do it, why not?”
