Sanders Reacts To DNC Emails About His Religion: ‘I Think It’s Outrageous’

With boos and chants of “Feel the Bern”, die-hard backers of Bernie Sanders signaled on Monday that they just aren’t ready to coalesce around the presidential bid of Hillary Clinton despite his pleas. But he said Sanders’ subsequent endorsement of Clinton shows that Democrats are united in ensuring Trump does not become president.

“From Debbie’s (Schultz) perspective, the fact that the convention is right around the corner, these emails are out and the Sanders supporters are going to be there, it was just in the best interest of everybody to move in a different direction”.

Kenny Madden, a Sanders delegate from Kentucky, said he doesn’t “think there can be anything Bernie can say that will bring people together”.

Clinton’s campaign, citing a cybersecurity firm hired to investigate the leak, blamed Russian Federation for hacking the party’s computers and suggested the goal was to benefit Donald Trump’s campaign.

“Hillary Clinton will make an outstanding president and I am proud to stand with her here tonight”, he said.

N.C. Rep. Rodney Moore, a Clinton supporter: “It was out of line”.

A spokesman for the Alaska Democratic party says the party did not have any plants among Bernie Sanders’ supporters ahead of an event earlier this year with Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

Sanders told his delegates in Philadelphia on Monday to support Clinton, drawing boos from some in the audience. It comes as no surprise then that she announced on Sunday that she is resigning after the convention is over.

“I was in the neighborhood I grew up in, and there’s a fair number of Trump signs in that neighborhood”, DiNapoli said. The emails that contain information about the Democratic Party’s 2016 Presidential campaign show that the party’s presidential primary campaign that was supposed to be neutral towards the party candidates, was not. The revelation raises questions about whether the DNC could have done more to limit the damage done by hackers. Others said they simply couldn’t support Clinton.

Trump dismissed the suggestion in a tweet: “The joke in town is that Russian Federation leaked the disastrous DNC emails, which should never have been written (stupid), because Putin likes me”. Sanders was able to focus on the issues and start uniting the party.

“I have no doubt that she is the leader we need at this time to keep our country safe, and I trust her with that most sacred responsibility of commander in chief”, he said. Elizabeth Warren for her running mate instead of Virginia Sen.

Questioning Fallon, Sanders delegate Germano Martin of Hooksett stated that “this was not a good idea. How”.

The tensions reached fever pitch in May, when Wasserman Schultz openly criticized the Vermont senator’s response to a chaotic scene involving Sanders supporters in Nevada and even compared the situation to a “Trump rally”.

“Debbie’s always worked hard and … It gives us a black eye if we don’t control our emotions”.
