MI helps Dems nominate Clinton for president; Sanders delegates walk out
Indeed, Clinton’s long political resume – secretary of state, senator, first lady – has sometimes seemed an odd fit for an electorate deeply frustrated with Washington and eager to rally around unconventional candidates like Trump and Sanders.

Hillary Clinton becomes the first woman to head the ticket of a major party in United States history.
But it might be a mistake if this demographic is overlooked in the remaining two days of the DNC for a very simple reason: If Clinton can make significant gains with this group, it will make it nearly mathematically impossible for Trump to win.
In a lilting story that spanned decades and states across America’s heartland, Bill Clinton described Hillary as a “magnetic” young student, a “fine” mother, his best friend and the “best darn change maker” Americans could hope for in a president.
This time, Clinton shattered the glass ceiling she couldn’t crack in 2008.
He also outline compromises she made with Republican colleagues during her time in the Senate. “She has the courage to lead the fight for commonsense gun legislation”. “That’s just who she is”, he said.
When he mentioned Mrs Clinton’s name, the group answered with shouts of “Lock her up!” – an echo of the chants at last week’s Republican convention.
“I move that Hillary Clinton be selected as the Democratic nominee for president”, said Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, Clinton’s archrival in the primaries.
And below you can see how the crowd reacted when singer Alicia Keys and former President Bill Clinton arrived. “The real one had done
“So people say, ‘Well, we need a change”. “You can not. One is real, the other is made up”.
Bill, who was the 42nd president of the USA from 1993 to 2000, said, “Hillary is uniquely qualified to seize the opportunities and reduce the risks we face”. “She will work for you”. But critically, with each anecdote (and, whoa boy, were there anecdotes!) he aimed to undermine the reputation that has dogged Clinton throughout her political career-a politician who is inauthentic, calculating, and self-motivated.
Recalling how Hillary Clinton turned down his first offer to marry him, he says he asked a second time by saying, “I really want you to marry me but you shouldn’t do it”.
