‘Lego Batman Movie’ hilarious new trailer introduces Robin

Wonder Woman was among a host of films to be showcased by Warner bros at Comic-Con, the annual gathering of movie, television and comic book fans. With humour taking a front seat and Flash and Aquaman joining the team of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, the film appears to be a fun-action filled experience.

The movie reunites all three “meta-humans” in Snyder’s “Batman v Superman”: Wonder Woman, played again by Gadot; Batman, Ben Affleck’s second outing as the Caped Crusader; and Henry Cavill’s Superman.

Batman also teaches the super giddy Robin some life lessons, as the latter looks for the seatbelt in the Batmobile: “The first lesson is: life doesn’t give you any seatbelts!”

“The LEGO Batman Movie” – This “Batman” movie is just a little lighter than “Justice League”.

The baddies of “Suicide Squad”, out August 5, took the stage too, including stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto. “I’m trying to say it without giving away any spoilers, but he’s feeling like he’s wanting to redeem himself and he’s wanting mankind to be redeemed and he’s wanting to make the world better, having learned lessons that were important in the last movie”.

“Justice League” will be in theatres November 17, 2017. “This is a movie about bad versus evil”.

The trailer hinted at a distinctly military flavor to Jordan Vogt-Roberts’s take on Kong, offering a split-second first look at the giant ape after two minutes of helicopters and explosions.

After the massive success of The LEGO Movie, Warner Bros. didn’t just put a sequel in the works, but also started planning films based on LEGO Batman and Ninjago.
