Windows 10 updates will make PC gaming ‘progressively worse’, says Tim Sweeney

The best part: it’s a free upgrade for just about everyone now running Windows 7 and 8.

Sure, the OS has its problems, but it’s by and large superior to Windows 7 and and 8 (lol).

Microsoft is encouraging all qualified PCs to upgrade to Windows 10 immediately, before the free upgrade offer ends on July 29, 2016. After that, it will cost $119.

Also, the Anniversary Update sees the release of Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection, a new system that leverages machine learning technology to protect organizations after a security breach.

In the past few months, Sweeney has already issued several attacks to Microsoft, claiming the new UWP standard would be a curse for smaller developers. The operating system upgrade would be available as a free download for one year. Microsoft won’t disclose the pricing publicly, but said its companies can find out more by asking one of its partners.

Many computer users in Taiwan are faced with the decision of whether to upgrade to Microsoft Corp.’s Windows 10 operating system this week, as the deadline of a one-year free update period approaches. The application allows users to perform tasks using their voice like checking weather, playing music and setting reminders without having to log in. However, it’s worth noting that Windows RT has quietly faded away.
