First trailer of the film ‘Wonder Woman’

“Wonder Woman” hits theatres on June 2, 2017. The Wonder Woman movie is scheduled for release over the summer next year. “I had no father”, she says to Trevor when he asks if she had ever met a man before.

The actress made her first appearance as the iconic feminist superhero in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, where her scene-stealing character fought alongside Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne/Batman and Henry Cavill’s Clark Kent/Superman.

Warner Bros. started off its massive, two-plus hours panel at San Diego Comic-Con’s cavernous Hall H with a strong showing of Wonder Woman that emphasized a superhero for all audiences, not just female ones.

Gadot spoke about her experiences working on the film.

The film, directed by Patty Jenkins, sees Chris Pine as soldier Steve Trevor who’s separated from his men and somehow transported to a mystical island that’s inhabited exclusively by women with incredible powers. “I could never have imagined that someone so really like Wonder Woman would show up to do this movie”.

Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers and her true destiny.

Wonder Woman is a founding member of the Justice League, alongside Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, and Flash.

Because she lived a very safe and sheltered life, Diana Prince knew little of the outside world.

“Wonder Woman” also stars Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya and Ewen Bremner.

Patty Jenkins directed the film, based on a screenplay by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns. It doesn’t come across almost as dark as the previous DCEU movies, and for that, I’m grateful.
