Some Rhode Island Sanders Delegates Remain Unsure About Clinton

Pennsylvania delegates were expecting Bernie Sanders as their guest at their Wednesday breakfast to start Day 3 of the Democratic National Convention, but the Vermont senator canceled. The senator won Utah’s Democratic Caucus with an overwhelming amount of support and a majority of delegates were pledged to him at the DNC. Sanders is working to convince his most ardent supporters to vote for the Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

“I hope the energy on campus that we had all year for Bernie and progressive issues will continue during the general election, even if Bernie is not the nominee”, Tannenbaum said.

“There will be some individuals who do some things”, CastroLang said “We will not disrupt what is happening in the hall”.

“We talk about Donald Trump way too much”, Comfort said of Democrats.

“It seems like our party has a preoccupation with Donald Trump and that is unsafe”, Comfort said.

PHILADELPHIA Pennsylvania delegates were ready for the week ahead and while Bernie Sanders supporters expressed discontent with the leaked emails, they shared one sentiment with Hillary Clinton supporters: it’s anything but Donald Trump.

“Our revolution doesn’t end”, Frame said.

“I was there to nominate the first black president of the country and I’m here to nominate the first woman president”, she said.

“Somebody running to be the leader of the free world and encouraging enemies of our state to go after his political opponents is unsafe and not fitting for somebody to be president of the United States”, Frame said.
