Get ready for another sunny, hot day in the Tennessee Valley today

Tuesday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 92 and a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, while Tuesday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 69. Chance of rain is 60 percent.

On Friday it’s a cloudy but sunny afternoon across the region, with temperatures ranging between the mid to high teens.

Forecasters with the National Weather Service say thunderstorms will begin to move into the Shore area after midnight Monday and continue through Tuesday evening. Chance of rain is 20 percent. We’ll see a better chance for scattered showers and weak t-storms overnight into Monday.
