Donald Trump Asks Russia to Hack Hillary Clinton’s Email
“He will respect me”, Trump said.

“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing”, Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, told reporters.
“I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press”.
The comments urging Russian Federation to hack Clinton immediately drew widespread attention because they lend the impression that Trump is actively encouraging another country to commit a crime against the U.S.to directly affect the presidential election.
Philip Reiner, a former National Security Council official under President Obama, also called the Donald Trump call for Russian Federation to spy on Hillary Clinton “a national security threat”, while ex-CIA Director Leon Panetta called Trump’s remarks “beyond the pale”, the online magazine Politico reported.
The content of the now infamous DNC emails in this political season has overshadowed the real, more unsafe issue – that Russian Federation was the source of the leaks on the eve of the party’s convention. Pressed on whether or not the returns would be released prior to the November election, Trump said it “depends on the audit” but brushed off not releasing his tax returns as “not a big deal”. “It’s going to be an extension of Obama”.
“If it’s any foreign country it shows how little respect they have for the United States”, said Trump, who added that he was “not an email person myself because I believe it can be hacked”.
At his golf course press conference, Trump said that Clinton should be denied the classified briefings, due to her email server use.
As for attacks on him, Trump mocked Democratic claims that a Russian hack of Democratic National Committee emails – the incident that led to Wasserman Schultz’s removal – is somehow connected to the Republican campaign.
“It’s just a total deflection, this whole thing with Russia”, Trump said.
Trump rapid response director Steven Cheung pushed back on the notion that the GOP nominee had invited Russian Federation to hack Clinton’s emails. They probably have her 33,000 e-mails that she lost and deleted because you’d see some beauties there.
The remarks may be an attempt to steal the limelight during the Democratic party’s convention this week in Philadelphia, or perhaps Trump is just stirring the pot in a way that he thinks will place the U.S. in an advantageous bargaining position with allies and enemies.
“No, it gives me no pause”, he said, adding that what gives him pause is Clinton’s destruction of the messages.
“Donald Trump has repeatedly expressed admiration for Vladimir Putin”, Obama said during a sit-down with NBC News that aired Tuesday. She handed over thousands of emails in 2015 to USA officials probing that system, but did not release about 30,000 emails she said were personal and not work-related.
Investigations into the hack have claimed conceivable Russian “links” to the hacker, though this is well short of saying that the Russian government did it, let alone that the Russian government did it on behalf of the Trump campaign. After appearances earlier this week in Virginia, North Carolina and Florida, Trump stumps later Wednesday in two key industrial states: Pennsylvania and Ohio. If Trump is to be defeated, it will have to happen through normal politics and because he is an ignorant bully and a menace to democracy with no qualifications for the office he seeks.
Trump was hoping to use the news conference to deride Democrats for failing to focus on Islamic State during their nominating convention this week and Clinton for holding no news conferences in almost a year.
Moments after he took the final question, Pence condemned the possible cyber-espionage, breaking from Trump for the first time since being selected as his vice-president. “I won’t get into that – a chapter that I really waited for – because it was pretty boring”.
As Clinton formally accepts the Democratic nomination on Thursday night, Trump plans to campaign that same day in the swing state of Iowa.

Trump pointed to the fact that different states have dramatically different living costs, noting that in his home state of New York, “You can’t buy a hot dog for the money you’re talking about”. He said I’m a genius. Sanders started the race behind by 400 delegates, and even sympathetic observers (like me) constantly assured the public he couldn’t win.
