“Little did she know that China, Russia – one of our many, many friends – came in and hacked the hell out of us”, Trump said sarcastically, framing the words “friends” in air quotes.

Clinton is “the only candidate with a specific plan to work with our allies and fight ISIS”, Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe said Tuesday in a rare reference.

Clinton also described her efforts with Sen. “I think there’s an opportunity, especially given the explicit outreach Donald Trump has made to the LGBTQ community”, he said.

Trump introduced his running mate Mike Pence, before giving a 30-minute speech in which he addressed veterans’ affairs, immigration, trade and terrorism. “Get out, Debbie, out!'” Trump said, referencing his famous line from the NBC show The Apprentice. It is going to be four more years of the same if she ever got in. “It’s the most awesome thing”.

Clinton’s speech, though, received just a polite response from the veterans assembled at the convention.

He also suggested at one point that China may have been involved in the DNC hack, despite no evidence to suggest the country’s involvement.
