Trump pulls closer to Clinton during convention

Hillary Clinton made no mention of her potential running mate during a rally here Friday evening, instead delivering a fiery rebuttal to Donald Trump’s acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention. “Tonight, I will share with you my plan of action for America”, Trump said.

Donald Trump officially accepted the presidential nomination of the U.S. Republican Party on Thursday night, announcing a plan that will “put America first”.

It was the biggest night so far for the NY real estate mogul’s campaign and final night of the 2016 Republican National Convention held at the Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland in the U.S. State of Ohio.

Clinton also took issue with Trump’s assertion that he speaks for most Americans.

“Honestly, he may have ruined his political career, I feel so badly”, Trump said.

Trump’s remarks came on the heels of a Republican National Convention at which Cruz pointedly declined to support Trump.

Ted Cruz’s refusal to endorse Trump, Knowles said the convention maintained an overall positive feeling about the party and the direction it’s headed.

“He will focus on making quality childcare accessible and affordable to all”, she added, arguing that motherhood, not sexism, was “the greatest factor in gender pay discrepancy”. “Which is why I alone can fix it”.

While the newly minted nominee said the GOP is behind him, his convention featured a noisy floor protest Monday by anti-Trump delegates over convention voting rules.

“We’re going to go all the way”, he said.

Obviously, the former Celebrity Apprentice star needed to have the last word as he took to Twitter to confirm that he knew about the senator’s speech ahead of time. In Brussels, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said the alliance agreement was crystal clear: “We defend each other”.

“I am not in the habit of supporting people who attacked my wife and attacked my father”, Cruz told members of the Texas delegation.

The torrent of violent news flooding into American TV screens in recent months was used to boost his own campaign at the expense of Democrats.
