Han Solo Is Not In Rogue One, Confirms Director Gareth Edwards
Alden Ehrenreich, who was formally introduced at Star Wars Celebration has been signed for “at least” three films for his role as everyone’s favorite thief and smuggler- Han Solo. And, writes Mr. Barsanti, “The idea of Disney waiting to see what the response to the Han Solo movie is like before greenlighting sequels seems silly after it put six new “Star Wars” movies into development before the first one had even come out”.

Speaking to Extra TV, Edwards said “I’m not sure if I’m allowed to do this, but I think I should”. From the reported reshoots, supposedly to make it less of a “war movie”, to how close exactly the movie is to the start of “Star Wars: A New Hope” (is it 10 minutes before? longer?).
According to the Daily News, a source of theirs claims that two additional films will follow if the 2018 “Han Solo” movie becomes a success.
Additionally, Kennedy confirmed to the outlet that Hayden Christensen won’t be coming back to portray Darth Vader in “Rogue One”, either. I can confirm that. Trying to squeeze him into “Rogue One” would have just felt clunky.
Which is hardly surprising since it’s already been confirmed that James Earl Jones’ dulcet tones will once again be used for the super-villain, which is all that really matters.

Although he may be the galaxy’s most iconic and loveable rogue, don’t be expecting Han Solo to pop in upcoming Star Wars: Rogue One.
