Netflix sets debut date for rebooted ‘Gilmore Girls’

Scheduled in time for the inevitable post-Thanksgiving food coma, the binge-worthy revival marks the return of dynamic mother-daughter duo Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel). Netflix says “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” will debut globally on November 25, 2015, with the show’s original stars, Lauren Graham, who plays Lorelai Gilmore and Bledel, who plays her daughter Rory.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will be presented in four 90-minute installments on Netflix, finishing off the show with an ending Amy Sherman-Palladino has envisioned, ever since Gilmore Girls premiered in 2000 on the CW network.

If you haven’t seen it yet, get on it. On message boards, there are teams for reach relationship. but to me, I think she was great with all three of them.

Referring to what she learned about family from the show, she said: “The shit in your family never gets worked out”. In Season 1 when Rory is enrolled at Chilton and tries to find a sport to get into, she defaults to golf just because her grandfather played. “I mention that because it plays into all of the choices the characters are making. Through dealing with that, [Lorelei] makes some decisions [about her love life]”. Hopefully, that balance will be maintained with little to no inside jokes that could cause the viewer to be pulled out of the show. which we all know was available in mass amounts on Fuller House. “It’s what it is, right now”, said Sherman-Palladin. “Everybody wants everybody to hate each other”. It was a matter of figuring out scheduling for McCarthy, who had Ghostbusters obligations. And you can read what Lauren Graham and the creators had to say about the revival here.

Netflix may just keep you out of the Black Friday midnight lines this year with a more appealing option.
