Obama: Carry Clinton Through General Election Like You Did For Me

Obama reminded everyone that Clinton argued for the mission that took out Bin Laden.

After watching his wife, First Lady Michelle Obama, address the convention on Monday night, the president stayed up until 3:30 a.m. working on his speech, an official said.

“No matter how much people try to knock her down, she never ever quits”, Obama said.

But Sanders, meeting with New England delegates, said, “As of yesterday, I guess, officially our campaign ended”.

“This has to be the first time that a major presidential candidate has actively encouraged a foreign power to conduct espionage against his political opponent”, said Clinton adviser Jake Sullivan.

“By so many measures, our country is stronger and more prosperous than it was when we started”, Obama said.

But the president noted there was still work to be done and that that work involved making some big choices this November. That address launched Obama on a path to the White House – though he says he doesn’t go back and rewatch the tape. Trump has no national security experience and few ties to the norms that have governed USA foreign policy under presidents from both parties, including standing by North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies threatened by countries including Russian Federation.

Clinton’s campaign has suggested that the emails may have been obtained by Russian Federation to help Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. He said the RNC gave a deeply pessimistic vision of the country that provided no serious solutions to pressing problems.

The president said that the nation had been tested, but he is more optimistic about the future of America than ever. “Believe me!” he said mockingly, as the audience boomed back, “No!” “She is fit to be the next Commander-in-Chief”.

And then there’s Donald Trump.

He touched off a firestorm by encouraging Russian Federation to meddle in the presidential campaign – even as he dismissed suggestions from Obama and other Democrats that Moscow was already acting on the Republican’s behalf. Not really a facts guy, either. She knows what’s at stake in the decisions our government makes for the working family, the senior citizen, the small business owner, the soldier, and the veteran. “Tonight, I ask you to do for Hillary Clinton what you did for me”. “And if you’re concerned about who’s going to keep you and your family safe in a unsafe world – well, the choice is even clearer”.

The president even brought up stark comparisons between Ronald Reagan and the Republican nominee, implying that he is not the Reagan-esque nominee Republicans had hoped for. Donald Trump calls USA military a disaster.

“Whether they were hacked by Russian Federation or aliens doesn’t really matter”, Sarandon said on Wednesday. “He’s betting that if he scares enough people, he might score just enough votes to win this election”.

Sarandon, an outspoken supporter of Sanders, noted that Wasserman Schultz has not apologized for the misconduct. The bottom line is: “Trump is a risky, reckless and radical choice and we cant afford to make that choice”. “That’s right feel the Bern” he said.

Those stylistic weaknesses led convention organizers to program prime-time speeches from other high-profile and well-liked Democrats, like Obama, Vice President Joe Biden (who also speaks Wednesday), first lady Michelle Obama, Vermont Sen.

Obama is trying to pull off what throughout the past century has been one of the most-difficult feats in American politics: hand off the office of the presidency to a chosen successor.

In a move aimed at broadening Clinton’s appeal, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg – an independent who considered launching a third party bid for president – will endorse the Democratic nominee.
