Trump encourages Russia to hack Hillary Clinton
“You need to help people”, Trump said. Think about that for a moment.

“As someone who was responsible for protecting our nation from cyberattacks, it’s inconceivable to me that any presidential candidate would be this irresponsible. Donald Trump can not become our commander in chief”.
They hinted the Russians did it to bolster Trump. A second round of releases came in the form of audio voicemails posted by WikiLeaks Wednesday evening.

Donald Trump has “actively encouraged” foreign powers to hack his presidential rival Hillary Clinton, her camp says.
Political analyst Paul Helmke said it’s clear Trump and Pence didn’t coordinate their messages, but he thinks they were talking about different issues.
“He’ll ultimately have to clarify or explain what he was saying, but I’m confident that Mr. Trump and Mr. (Mike) Pence both believe that protecting private citizens’ information from foreign government hacking is of paramount importance”.
Challenged later that day, he said that “if Russian Federation or China or any of those country gets those emails, I’ve got, to be honest with you, I’d love to see them”.
The Democratic Party chairwoman, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, resigned on Sunday after the leaked emails showed party leaders favoring Clinton over her rival, U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, for the presidential nomination.
But in 2016, Donald Trump has beaten all the odds by managing to dominate the news cycles and have the media focus nearly exclusively on his comments, creating an extraordinary level of awareness and celebrity over his candidacy that has turned into active support. Soon after, he wrote on Twitter that if anyone had the emails, they should hand them over to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
“Taxes too high, wages too high, we’re not going to be able to compete against the world. Why should I tell Putin what to do?” Trump retorted. “He already did something today where he said don’t blame them, essentially, for your incompetence”.
“I asked Sergei Borisovich (Ivanov) if he has met this man, and Sergei Borisovich said he would not comment on such outlandish reports”, Peskov said. “I think it can be hacked”. “Richard Burr, as chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, should say whether or not he agrees with Trump”. It’s as if, you know, eh, this is a child, eh, playing with matches who doesn’t understand how badly he and the country can get burned. He said a foreign power hacking the Democrats would be a sign of disrespect toward USA leadership.
And if those comments of mutual admiration aren’t eyebrow-raising on their own, Trump’s interview with The New York Times earlier this month definitely seals the deal.
Brazile – who was Al Gore’s campaign manager in the 2000 presidential campaign, which was complicated for Democrats by the presence of third-party candidate Ralph Nader – said, “As Al Gore’s former campaign manager the last thing I want them to do is try and flirt with danger, to flirt with a third party that could put Donald Trump in the White House”.
But a Russian officials denied the claims outright.
Trump spearheaded the so-called birther movement, which undermined America’s first black president by claiming that he was not born in the United Sates.
He said he’s never spoken to Putin and knows nothing about him “except that he’ll respect me”.
He has praised Putin in the past and said this week that if elected, he would seek an alliance with Moscow to take on Islamic State militants.
Given the timing of the DNC email leak and its potential ties to the Russian government, many are deeply concerned that it reflects an effort by a foreign government to influence the outcome of a major American election.
