Priyanka made her announcement while participating in “Today show” along with Usher. The 34-year-old actress, now, a known face internationally, met the “U Remind Me” hitmaker for an upcoming event Global Citizen Festival, which the duo is hosting. Accompanying her will be TV show host Chelsea Handler, actors Hugh Jackman with wife Deborra-Lee, Neil Patrick Harris, Salma Hayek Pinault and comedian Seth Meyers.

When asked about the event, the actress gushed, “I’m looking forward to co-hosting the event”.
The evening, which has been billed as a free-ticketed event to help raise awareness for the Global Goals set by the United Nations since its inception, will also see performances by artistes like Kendrick Lamar and Major Lazer. “It’s a first and that too with such an unbelievable group of talent”. The actress will be flying back to the country for thesame in November.

Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin who is the festival’s Creative Director for the next fifteen years, will also make an appearance at the Global Citizen Festival.
