Police spokesman Arno Zumbach told the Bild tabloid that the unidentified suspect had made threatening statements about ISIS and last week’s mass shooting in Munich, in which nine people were killed and 16 others were wounded.

A shopping centre in the German city of Bremen was evacuated after suspicious actions by an 19-year-old with links to terrorism.
A doctor who tried to follow the man was unable to catch up to him, and as he ran, the 19-year-old is said to have shouted: “I’ll blast you into the air”. But they said there was no further evidence of any ties. German officials have linked two of the incidents to Islamic State.
The newspaper, citing police sources, said the man had behaved suspiciously in the mall, but gave no details. He was later identified as the missing patient, who had fled a facility in the nearby state of Lower Saxony. It was believed that the man had taken drugs, as well, and that he “posed a potential danger to himself and to others”.
On Wednesday, earlier in the day, police were on edge when a suitcase exploded in southern Germany, according to The Fiscal Times.
