‘Gilmore Girls’ Trailer: Lorelai Wants to Befriend Amy Schumer

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life writer Amy Sherman-Palladino told Netflix she would “hang herself from a shower curtain” if they put out all four episodes of the new limited series at once. Plot details remain elusive for now, but expect dribs and drabs to come out of the show’s session at Netflix’s TCA day today.

“Gilmore Girls” has distinguished itself as a witty, inspiring, female-driven show on which a generation of girls grew up.

In it, the duo was arguing about whether popular comedian Amy Schumer would like Lorelai.

“There will always be some fans who are unhappy, but I think they’ll be pleased with it”, the “Supernatural” actor said, referring to Rory’s romantic path in this installment.

Much has been made about the last four words in Gilmore Girls lore. In fact, the Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life executive producer took the opportunity to plead with fans and prolific internet users not to ruin the series, which has yet to be released, for other fans.

It’s been nine years since Gilmore Girls ended its run on WB and CW, but it wasn’t hard for cast members to dive back into their roles for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, which premieres November 25 on Netflix. I don’t have the a- I want. “She does have a love life”, the actress has said. It’s a matter of seconds before the Gilmores are back in their patented banter, with a nod to how long its been since we’ve seen them together.

But before the Gilmores start leading where we will follow (theme song reference!), Netflix will be premiering additional original content. Creepy “Twilight Zone”-like series “Black Mirror” returns for its third season October 21″.

“I really feel like the sh- in your family never gets worked out”, said Sherman-Palladino. And you can read what Lauren Graham and the creators had to say about the revival here. “That gave the show a depth and an emotional complexity that felt like to me here’s the show grown up even more…through dealing with that, she makes some decisions”.
