The Nuggets will also have plenty to offer London fans; though Mike Malone’s youthful squad had a losing record last season the likes of Will Barton, Emmanuel Mudiay and Gary Harris are expected to emerge as high-quality players over the coming months. “It’s a great opportunity for more National Basketball Association exposure overseas and we’re very pleased for the Pacers to be part of that exposure”.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) announced today that NBA Global Games London 2017 will feature the Denver Nuggets and Indiana Pacers travelling to London for a regular-season game at The O2 on January 12, 2017.

The Nuggets’ roster now features Danilo Gallinari (Italy), who led the team in scoring last season with a career-high 19.5 points per game, and 2014 FIBA World Cup gold medalist Kenneth Faried (U.S.). It will be a home game for the Nuggets, with tickets going on sale at the beginning of the 2016-17 season.

The game is part of the NBA Global Games London 2017 series. They were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs following a game-seven defeat to the Toronto Raptors, and team president Larry Bird decided not to retain the services of long-serving head coach Frank Vogel.

The game will be the seventh regular-season contest to be held in the United Kingdom and will take place on Thursday January 12.

London is calling the Indiana Pacers and Denver Nuggets.

“Our entire team and organisation are looking forward to this opportunity to showcase our league to fans overseas”.
