Democratic VP candidate Tim Kaine: You can’t trust Donald Trump

And Kaine said Trump University, which is funded by the Republican presidential nominee, has scammed many students out of education.

Tim Kaine, Hillary Clinton’s vice presidential running mate, gave an awesome speech at the Democratic National Convention Wednesday night (July 27).

Pointing to major figures in American history to stress the importance of the 2016 election, the vice presidential nominee contended that the country begins the “the next chapter in our proud story” this week. “We’re not reacting way we should”, Kean said.

“Trump is a guy who promises a lot, but you might have noticed he’s got a way of saying the same two words every time he makes his biggest, hugest promises: ‘believe me, ‘” Kaine said, launching into the role of Trump. “Our nation, it is too great to put it in the hands of a slick-talking, empty-promising, self-promoting, one-man wrecking crew”. And third, to draw a deep contrast between his running mate and Donald Trump. “Hillary is seasoned. She is poised and she is ready”.

Clinton was also nominated by acclamation – a voice vote from the convention floor instead of traditional balloting – Tuesday by her formal rival Sen. Showing off another of his assets as a campaigner, fluent Spanish, Kaine said he and Clinton were compañeros del alma – soul mates – and described her as lista, which he translated as “prepared, battle-tested, rock solid”.

Kaine moved onto the main reason he trusts Clinton, who he highlights as fighting for women’s rights around the globe.

“They are a heartbeat away from being president so that person should be qualified to take over you know I think he’s more than qualified”, Green said. And early on, Kaine reminded viewers that his son Nat, a Marine, deployed this week to Europe-to “defend the very North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies that Donald Trump now says he would abandon”.

“We open up states, meaning me, meaning you. We’re all neighbors and we must love our neighbors as ourselves”, Kaine continued.

It certainly didn’t feel as electric as Vice President Joe Biden’s emphatic defense of Hillary Clinton’s capabilities, record and love for America. We share this belief: do all the good you can. Serve one another. That’s what I’m about. That’s what Bernie Sanders is about.
