CIVIL WAR took part today in “Worlds, Galaxies, and Universes: Live Action at The Walt Disney Studios” presentation at Disney’s D23 EXPO 2015 in Anaheim, Calif. Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson responded to the controversy on social media in early May, and he had another chance to address it during Comic-Con.

I think most people would assume that Bratt might play a villain in the upcoming film, but the film’s big bad has already been revealed to be Kaecilius (played by the great Mads Mikkelsen).

As for Spidey’s suit, it’s pretty similar to what we saw in Captain America: Civil War, and I’m totally fine with that.

“Doctor Strange”, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, finished production in April, so it’s all the more odd that we’re only now discovering Bratt’s involvement.

When Steve Ditko and Stan Lee introduced Doctor Strange back in 1963, he was nothing more than a trippy, experimental magical hero buried in a Marvel Strange Tales anthology series dominated by humorous side stories with Fantastic Four team members Human Torch and Thing.
