Mr Dulani, who has been reported missing in the 18-year-old case, said he has been living in fear and was threatened every time he tried to attend a court hearing.

Khan and seven other people, including Bollywood actors, had been accused of killing a gazelle and two antelopes over two days in 1998 while filming a movie in Rajasthan state.

The Rajasthan High Court on Monday acquitted actor Salman Khan in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. The state Government’s decision on whether to appeal to the Supreme court to over-rule the decision is yet to be decided.

The cases in connection with the killing of blackbucks and arm acts are still being heard in the court. In an exclusive interview given to NDTV, Dulani revealed that it was Salman Khan himself who shot and the deer and then slit his throat. One of the animals that got killed was at Bhawad, on the outskirts of Jodhpur on September 26, 1998.

Meanwhile, Khan’s hit-and-run case saw the actor acquitted of all charges by the Bombay High Court on December 10, 2015, which set aside the sessions court’s May order that had sentenced him to a five-year imprisonment.

Sister Arpita Khan is also euphoric on her brother’s acquittal and has gone all out to thank fans and well-wishers for all the support they expressed during these troubled 18 years. The two incidents allegedly happened when Salman Khan was shooting for, “Hum Saath Saath Hain“, a film directed by Sooraj Barjatya. Though he is out of two cases, there is one more case remaining which is the poaching of the endangered black bust.
