Israeli Actress Gal Gadot Slays in ‘Wonder Woman’ Trailer

The 31-year-old actress revealed that she had watched a documentary on the late Princess Diana before filming began and was inspired by the mother of Princes William and Harry, reports The Sun.

The 2016 San Diego Comic Con debuted a number of trailers for some upcoming highly anticipated movies including Justice League and Wonder Woman. She said: “She (Princess Diana) said she leads from her heart and not from her head”.

“Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny”.

When the world first met Wonder Woman in 1941, Hippolyta-who raised her, and will be played by Connie Nielsen in the movie-explains: “In the days of ancient Greece, many centuries ago, we Amazons were the foremost nation in the world”.

After the trailer premiered, Gadot posted a clip on Instagram, where she wrote, “I$3 can’t express how excited I am to see my journey come to life!”

Zach Snyder is a producer on the “Wonder Woman” and he joined the stars of his “Justice League” movie, including Gal, Ben Affleck, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Henry Cavill, and Ray Fisher, for a panel at Comic Con.

Patty Jenkins, the film’s director said: “The world needs love and forgiveness in such a huge way, [Wonder Woman] stands for being loving and awesome and being incredible”.

There is already excitement building around the release of Wonder Woman and is a film not to be missed next summer. It felt like we were just a vessel for a greater story that we need to share with everyone.
