First hubby? If Hillary Clinton wins, what will we call Bill?

But Clinton’s challenge has never been her command of policy.

Yet hundreds of his supporters still aren’t on board.

Even with his gracious entreaties to his supporters to get behind her, not only did Sanders backers boo Monday night when he urged them to support Clinton, many of them are still defiantly saying they will not vote for her in November. Others stormed the nearby media tent.

Chau Ngo, a 32-year-old Sanders delegate and mother of two from Austin, said she’s more focused on what it takes to defeat Trump than what a Clinton presidency would mean for the women’s movement. Still, the dissenters are passionate and have significantly influenced the party’s platform.

Former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk told the Wisconsin delegation Thursday morning that she had experienced some of the same “skepticism” running as the first female county executive, and in her run for governor.

In 1992, Clinton, then a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, dragged the party, kicking and screaming, toward the political center.

It’s a big moment, and Clinton needs to convey a sense that it transcends her candidacy, something she sought to do during video remarks Tuesday night. Voters like Lowe, who says Sanders inspired her to run for Congress, openly dismiss the idea that this week is a historic milestone for women.

Clinton’s electoral strength is in the West and Northeast, while Trump is dominant in the South.

In the biggest moment of her almost 25-year political career, aides say Clinton will lay out a positive vision for the future and detail her proposals to improve the economy, boost security and unite a divided nation. So far, her campaign’s been rich with policies targeting lower-income workers, including a proposal for the largest investment in infrastructure jobs since Dwight Eisenhower.

Not bad choices! Fact is, we’ve got time to think about it. The Philadelphia convention was created to go straight at that issue, featuring speakers who vouched for her advocacy on behalf of children and people with disabilities.

“With her as our Commander-in-Chief, America will continue to lead this volatile world”.

Clinton’s speech is the biggest opportunity of this campaign for her to reach a primetime audience, with all of the networks beaming her address to the nation. Instead, he told a personal story, a love story. A July Marquette University poll found 58 percent of voters viewed Clinton unfavorably.

While Clinton and Obama have argued that ISIS is on the run, the economy is on the upswing, and Americans are safer than they have been in years, they are struggling to rebut the dark image that Trump has painted of a nation in decline, chaos and disorder. She cited Clinton’s achievements in helping overhaul the Arkansas school system while serving as the state’s first lady and in expanding children’s health care as the nation’s first lady.
