WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange Denies Russian Role in DNC Hack: ‘No Proof Whatsoever’
Those emails ultimately led DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz announcing her resignation.

“Well, you’re asking me, do I prefer cholera or gonorrhea?” he said in an interview with Democracy Now. For example, after Wikileaks’ initial dump of nearly 20,000 emails on July 22, DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz officially resigned following the scandal, according to Politico.
“In an odd sort of way, WikiLeaks is also competing for a global share of hackers and insiders who are releasing data”, he says.
“I’m furious about what you are doing for Bernie Sanders, he’s getting way too much influence”.
Russian Federation is likely likely behind the hack of DNC emails, USA spy agencies say but Wikileaks founder Julian Assange will neither confirm nor deny that assertion.
It remains unclear, however, how Assange and WikiLeaks came into possession of the hacked emails and therein lies the rub, geopolitically speaking.
An opinion piece by Daily Kos implies that Julian Assange feels particularly bitter toward Hillary Clinton and stated in their headline that “Julian Assange [is] deliberately trying to hurt Hillary Clinton, threatens to do it again”. They showed top officials working to tip the scales in favor of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 primaries and against her chief opponent, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.
Assange has made no secret of his distaste for Hillary Clinton, saying in a post on the site that the Democratic candidate will “will push the United States into endless, stupid wars which spread terrorism” and has already, through poor judgment, helped the spread of ISIS.
In an interview with Britain’s ITV in mid-June, Assange mentioned “emails related to Hillary Clinton which are pending publication”, but his remark at the time was thought to refer to additional emails from her private server, and not to the DNC emails – a detail that the New York Times picked up on this week.
Clinton was formally nominated Tuesday at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

“Even Sanders was booed at an event Monday, when he told supporters it was in the country’s best interest to elect Clinton president.”
