Biden to appear on ‘Law and Order SVU’

Vice President Joe Biden is no fan of Republican nominee Donald Trump, and he’s made no secret of it. I don’t buy that. How can there be pleasure in saying ‘you’re fired.’ He’s trying to tell us he cares about the middle class? “And while this nation has been tested by war and recession and all manner of challenge – I stand before you again tonight, after nearly two terms as your President, to tell you I am even more optimistic about the future of America”, he said.

“Everybody knows she’s smart, everybody knows she’s tough, but I know what she’s passionate about”. He called out Trump’s positions of foreign policy, or lack thereof, Wednesday, but that’s far from the first time he’s expressed doubt that Trump could be an effective president, to put it mildly.

Biden added, that carpet-bombing terrorists in the Middle East was also a bad idea, and that Trump says things that “make absolutely no sense”. “That’s a bunch of malarkey!” If we were able to find out I’d betchya everything I have that hardly anyone is going to pull a lever for Trump.

“Americans have never ever let their country down”, he said.

“Hillary’s been in the room”, Obama said. “We are not a fragile or frightful people”, Obama said.

Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, meanwhile, said he was not a Democrat or a Republican but appeared at the convention to demolish his fellow billionaire’s reputation in business.

Biden started to speak by paying tribute to President Barack Obama and calling Obama the “embodiment of honour, resolve and character”. “It’s mean spirited. It’s petty”, Biden said.

“I can say with confidence there has never been a man or a woman – not me, not Bill, nobody – more qualified than Hillary Clinton to serve as president of the United States of America”, Obama said to a roaring crowd – and a belly-laughing Bill Clinton – at the Democratic National Convention.

Biden slammed Trump as unable to handle the complexities of a risky world. We think about the countless thousands of other people who suffered so much more than we have with so much less support.

It was a bittersweet moment for Biden in more ways than one.

“There is only one candidate in this race who believes in that future, and has devoted her life to it; a mother and grandmother who’d do anything to help our children thrive … the next President of the United States, Hillary Clinton”, he said.

But Biden said there could be a reason Democrats haven’t had time to talk about policies for working-class voters: “We’ve been consumed by crisis, after crisis after crisis”.

“I was so young that time in Boston”, said Obama.

However, he concluded the speech by saying, “Hillary Clinton will lead the next chapter”, NBC added.
