Just as he did with “Little Marco”, “Lyin’ Ted” and “Crooked Hillary”, Trump wasted no time coming up with a nickname for the Democratic VP nominee: “Corrupt Kaine”.

“Let’s talk about trust”, Kaine said in his Wednesday night speech at the Democratic convention. Kaine, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, joined in with chant during his speech. “Hillary’s passion is kids and families”.
For Democrats, the night was steeped in symbolism, the passing of the baton from a barrier-breaking president to a candidate trying to make history herself.
“I think a person’s character is a product of a lifetime and if you look at Tim’s lifetime, you see that as a young person he was called to serve and actually went to Honduras”, said O’Malley.
The U.S. senator from Virginia and former Virgina governor bounded into the Florida delegation breakfast at the downtown Marriott around 8:15 a.m. – before most delegates had arrived for the scheduled 8:30 a.m. meal. “And Hillary Clinton, she’s is ‘lista'”.
Clinton is to make her acceptance speech tonight as the four-day national convention comes to an end and the four-month campaign leading up to the November 8 election begins. In a 2014 interview with Politico, Kaine said that he and hardline conservative Ted Cruz, the Texas senator who was runner-up in this year’s GOP presidential contest, “get along great”.
“We all should feel the Bern and we all should not want to get burned by the other guy”, Kaine said, to cheers.
Kaine’s allies say his record must be judged in totality. Kaine was governor of Virginia from 2006 to 2010. “She’s going to open up who we are as a nation – who the leadership of this nation is”.
It was one of several times Kaine spoke spanish during his address.
A son of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Biden appealed directly to the working class white voters who have been drawn to Trump’s populism, warning them against falling for false promises and exploitation of Americans’ anxieties.

When he highlighted his background as the son of a union ironworker and graduate of Jesuit schools, he made sure to mention his father-in-law, former Virginia Gov. Linwood Holton, a Republican who integrated the state’s public schools. “That is a very good tool to reach the Hispanics”, Huyke Garner said. “Bill built a bridge into the 20th Century, and Barack gave us hope”, he said.
